A Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Center Manager.
Our Technician expertly diagnoses customer vehicle problems, accurately prescribes correct repair
action(s), and promptly delivers the required service. The ideal Technician has a high school
diploma/GED (advanced education, a plus); is skilled and/or certified in at least two areas/specialties;
has 3 years of vehicle repair experience, an unrestricted driver's license, and clean driving record; and
has a strong technical performance record.

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
- Expertly diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
- Deliver repair services and/or maintenance procedures in a prompt and high‐quality fashion
- Maintain leading‐edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and
reference materials - Continuously develop an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components
work and interact - Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
- Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics
arena - Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance/repair facilities
- Use center equipment such as lifts, welders, diagnostic equipment, etc. with confidence and in
accordance with all safety procedures - Lead or train other, less qualified, technicians in maintenance/repair activity when required
