I am an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager seeking to use skills and abilities to improve and maintain facilities in support of businesses or home owners, develop business opportunities, manage maintenance contracts, motivate workforce productivity and safety, and produce cost effectiveness leading to profit. Coordinated to support maintenance requirements and needs of 2 Schneider Electric manufacturing plants, including preventive maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floor coverings, roofing, fencing, pavements, fire detection and protection, and building structural component repairs. Custodial and grounds maintenance and liaison for city water, sewer, and electrical departments.
Managed maintenance, repair and minor construction for 246 buildings (including billeting/lodging, hangers, warehouses, offices, maintenance facilities) and structures, 688 acres of airfield pavements, roads, parking lots, emergency generators, aircraft fueling system, water, gas and electrical systems at March Air Reserve Base, CA. Led the daily activities of 27 technicians and administrative employees. Improved the preventive maintenance program, accuracy of financial activities, safety training programs, emergency action plans and operating procedures.
Started and managed the maintenance and repair contracts for nine Defense Information System Agency data and communication facilities. Developed and implemented preventive and predictive maintenance programs, operational, safety and quality control policies and procedures. Established budgets; hired and trained site managers and employees; standardized materials procurement and inventories; and monitored customer satisfaction and quality control at each site.
