Systems and Database Administrator

The Systems and Database Administrator is responsible for developing and implementing a Manufacturing Execution Program (MEP) in our growing facility. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and energetic about joining the engineering department.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to develop and implement IT database solutions focusing on streamlining manufacturing operations.
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand operations objectives and provide IT solutions.
  • Maintain front and back end systems to ensure information flow across the organization.
  • Design Systems, databases, and servers for new deployment and Upgrades.
  • Build interfaces between databases to pull information into a custom environment
  • Analyze, plan, coordinate, and implement system design changes and enhancements to improve and/or expand technical services.
  • Provide technical expertise in the most cost effective and efficient implementation strategies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage implementations and ensure system quality
  • Assists users with support, access, and customization needs related to system software.
  • Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to facilitate system software modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Information systems related technologies: 4 years
  • Designs Systems, Databases, Servers: 4 years
  • SAGE 100 ERP experience preferred but not required
  • MS SQL database maintenance preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • A degree or equivalent work in experience in information systems related technologies.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
