Served as the executive assistant to Army National Guard G1, Chief Guard Directorate. Managed various calendars of officer personnel within the directorate, screening and greeting of visitors, and phone calls. Used the Joint Applications Staff Management System (JASMS), to review and track correspondence prepared and tasked within their respective component directorates. Assured formats and packages were in accordance with the United States Army correspondence regulation.
Managed arrangements such as coordinating/scheduling meetings, conferences, trips and speaking engagements in accordance withproject objectives and timeliness as established by senior leadership. Utilized initiative in resolving conflicts and determining the
proper methods to use without the leadership involvement; Level 15 access to the Defense Travel System; created/tracked authorizations, vouchers, travel orders processed, local mileage inquiries, and assured that Government Credit Cards were properly utilized.
Coordinated with the lead security office to ensure scheduling, access and transportation onto the appropriate facilities were current for all visitors. Maintained a positive customer service atmosphere; implemented team concept strategies to increase organization’s monthly production.
Record meeting minutes and create executive summaries for multiple external stakeholder meetings held both weekly and biweekly. Assist with updates and evaluation of deliverable products; ensure deliverables are completed throughout phases of the project. Assist with the daily coordination of customer and team events to include scheduling, preparation, coordination, and conduct of events. Creates team Travel Authorization Requests (TAR) to be distributed to external Government clients.

Appointed as the subject matter expert regarding the pre-screening of approximately 14K Integrated Disability Evaluation System cases received into the agency’s Continental United States Physical Evaluation Boards. Served as the junior case analyst to a team of 10 senior analysts with endorsement authority of the Secretary of the Army. Analyzed, authenticated, forwarded and processed over 1K Disability Compensation cases annually.
Generated, updated, and presented metric charts, narrative reports, and production forecasts for Pentagon briefings. Reports facilitated in determining the Army force reduction initiative, Warrior Transition Unit staffing, and retention standards. Adjusted manpower to critical and time- phased sections that optimized the agency’s functionality and to ensure tasks were equally distributed. Designed an agency production schedule that cleared the Physical Evaluation Board’s 800 case back log within a three-month period. Increased the productivity and efficiency of the agency’s workflow that facilitated timely payments to disabled veterans and their dependents.
Conducted quality assurance checks that identified inconsistencies in case files that would’ve subsequently disrupted the workflow, and veteran’s way of life. Mitigated errors through a process with a nine-month lead time which yielded less corrections and increased throughout and quality performance. Planned, organized, and executed team building events for Soldiers, DA civilians and contractors. Ensured that healthy morale and team – work were among all personnel.

Served as an advisor during weekly briefings to provide branch managers with administrative programmatic updates to improve functions throughout the agency. Proficiency analyzed assessments that drove the life cycle of supporting projects, equipment, program augmented personnel, and their cost benefits. Managed the health, welfare and professional development of over one hundred twenty personnel, providing monthly, quarterly and yearly performance-based evaluation reviews to foster profession career readiness. Provided administrative support within records management of one 120+ individual personnel files; reduced organization’s late submission rate by 50%. Utilized the Defense Travel System (DTS) to create/Tracked authorizations, vouchers, travel orders processed.
Maintained all training support materials; prepared, managed and drafted training schedules and materials for approval which complied with unit command guidance, directives and publications of higher headquarters. Advised the Company Readiness Officer on military education and forwarded training applications for Army service schools by operating the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATTRS).
