Directed the Operational and Technical Merger of a multi-billion dollar company). Led large enterprise teams of over 125 resources to manage full delivery of the merger integration of 4 organizations. Technical delivery included rationalizing of technology platforms specific to each business unit and complete design of a single infrastructure serving new future state organization. Personally managed transaction system implementation as both project manager, and design authority . Included design of organizational structures, process integration of business into a common global business design, and change management. Successfully deployed new business along with new integrated landscape of systems, and processes. Identified project requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing clients. Operated within budgetary constraints, participated in development of annual budget forecasts and reconciliation of operating budget. Organized a discovery to understand client's fund structure, current processes, scope of asset classes, and bespoke requirements. Led a team to assess current state process, and systems supporting financial reporting and close processes. Reviewed current accounting and reporting processes and sub-processes related to the client's asset business, hedge fund, and commodities trading operations. Reduced close process from 3 weeks to 1 week. Collaborated with team to review all technical aspects with touch points to the processes and the security and controls governing the financial reporting and close processes. Led teams to evaluate current implementation of financial system. Reviewed risk management policies and procedures, transaction life cycle process, and controls. Provided controls gap, technology gap, and recommendations for closing gaps. Provided recommendations on system implementation approach. Software development and implementation of budgeting, forecasting for management of over 3 billion USD supply per year.
