Salary Range: $94,225 to $122,493 per year
The National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans is seeking a research investigator to join its core research staff and advance the Center’s mission of promoting recovery oriented care for Veterans who are experiencing homelessness or risk.

Responsibilities
The position entails work in VA health services, conducting epidemiological and/or clinical research studies that require the application of multi-disciplinary approaches to test hypotheses related to the identification, treatment, outcomes, and health care delivery processes affecting Veterans experiencing homelessness or risk. The research is specifically health-oriented in nature, but may cut across a variety of scientific disciplines, requiring a combination of elements of several distinct fields such as public health or health services, sociology, psychology, epidemiology and mathematical statistics, health care economics, basic sciences and allied health disciplines among others.
This is a full-time virtual position reporting to the Center Research Director.
Position requirements
The work requires a background (professional education and practical experience) in which the incumbent has mastered research theories and methodologies appropriate to health science research studies. Experience with complex data structures, advanced statistical analyses, and VA data is preferred.
